The Stockholm Contest marks the 30th anniversary of Iceland's Eurovision debut. Close to victory in 1999 and the only nation to catch a distant glimpse of the back of Alexander Rybak's braces in 2009, they have yet to win but the Icelandics have rarely disgraced themselves at the Contest.
