About
“Indian Football Fantasy League” is a non-commercial fantasy league competition created by Indian football enthusiasts. “Indian Football Fantasy League” is not an official partner and claims no association with the (i) Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) or All India Football Federation (AIFF) or any national football board or team, (ii) Hero Indian Super League (ISL) or any ISL franchises or (iii) any other domestic football tournament/league, or tournament franchise/team, or (iv) Co-promoters IMG-Reliance or Star India, or (v) any athlete featured. “Indian Football Fantasy League” accepts that the AIFF, ISL and its franchises, national cricket boards, domestic tournament promoters and organizers and franchises/teams respectively owns all proprietary names and marks relating to the relevant league or tournament. The 2014 Indian Super League season will comprise of eight clubs and be the first ever season of the Indian Super League. The season will start on Sunday 12 October 2014 and will conclude on Saturday 20 December 2014. During the regular season, each team will play each other twice on a home and away basis. The top four teams at the end of the season will qualify for the finals series. The semi-finals will be played in a two-legged format with the winners moving onto the one-legged final. Scoring
How to play Game will be played on weekly basis – Team selection will open after Sunday’s (Saturday if no game is to be played on Sunday) game ends and will be locked 90 minutes before game on Monday (Tuesday – if no match to be played on Monday). o Please refer to league schedule and strategize according to matches scheduled for the week • Select 11 players to build squad. Point scoring • Scores will be provided based on five parameters –Attack, Defense, Fouls, Appearance and Bonus points • Decision by score keeper would be final Attack • Goal scored by o Attacker: +5 points o Midfielder: +6 points, o Defender: +8 points o Goalkeeper: +10 points o No points would be considered for penalty shootout • Critical contribution to goal creation (subject to scorekeeper’s decision) o Attacker: +3 points o Midfielder: +3 points o Defender: +3 points o Goalkeeper: +5 points • Penalty won by o Attacker, midfielder or defender: +5 points o Goalkeeper: +10 points • Penalty miss by any player: -5 points (no points would be considered for penalty shootout) Defense • Goals conceded o Midfielder: -1 point for every 3 goals conceded o Defender and Goalkeeper: -1 points for every goal conceded • Clean Sheet o Midfielder: +1 point o Defender: +2 points o Goalkeeper: +5 points • Penalty conceded by o Attacker: -10 points o Midfielder, defender or goalkeeper: -5 points • Penalty saved by goalkeeper: +5 points • Own goal scored: -5 points Fouls • Yellow card: -2 points (two yellow cards: -5 points) • Red card: -5 points Appearance • Starting 11: o playing more than 60 minutes: +3 points o playing more than 30 minutes but less than 60 minutes: +2 points o playing up to 30 minutes: +1 point • Substitute: o playing more than 30 minutes: +2 points o Sub playing less than 30 minutes: +1 point Bonus points • Player selected as man of the match: +5 bonus points • Match won: +3 points • Draw: +1 point
