For those who weren't keeping track, Hoshoryu reached his second straight playoff and had his second straight playoff defeat. That makes 4 Jun-Yusho in his last seven basho, with the only other one he completed being a yusho--which he won in a playoff. A Yokozuna should be staying in the yusho hunt all basho long, but apparently Hoshoryu is on a mission to give us extra sumo.
