Clearly, Oshoma was not ready for Sanyaku just yet. His sumo is much more functional than spectacular, and the guys at the top of the Banzuke have too much ability to give him the openings his brand of sumo thrives on. Just remember he already showed he can hang as a Maegashira, the rank he has returned to.
