The 18th season of RuPaul's Drag Race will begin airing on Jan 2, 2025. Before each episode, you can pick a team of 3 drag queens. 

If there is a Lip Sync Lalaparuza episode featuring eliminated queens: the same scoring rubric will apply. Each queen that wins a lip sync will receive +10 points, and the queen who wins the Lalaparuza and the $50,000 prize will receive +15 points. Queens that are still in the competition and who will move on to the finale will receive +5 points.

Challenges:

• Mini Challenge Win +5
  • If applicable in the episode. Points will be awarded to queen or members of a group who wins the challenge
• Main Challenge Win +15
  • Points awarded for queen who is named the "Winner" for the week on the main stage.
  • At the Grand Finale, +15 points will be awarded to the queen who is named the winner of the season 
• First Main Challenge Win of Season +20
  • Points awarded for queen who is named the "Winner" for the first week on the main stage. (Points awarded in lieu of the usual +15)
  • If the season starts with a split premiere, +20 points will be awarded to the queen who is named the "Winner" of the main challenge in each premiere episode
• Surviving the week +5
  • Points awarded to all queens that move on to the next week of competition. Points are awarded in addition to any other competition points awarded for the week.

Lip Syncs:

• Winning Lip Sync +10 
  • Points awarded for queen(s) named the winner of a "Lip Sync For Your Life" on the main stage.
• Taking Your Wig Off During a Lip Sync -10
  • Must be intentional. Does not include wig reveals
• Not Knowing the Lyrics to the Lip Sync Song -10
  • Points deducted for not knowing the lyrics to the song.

Drama:

• Crying in workroom/confessional +2
  • Points awarded for each unique occurrence. Queen must actually cry. ("Getting misty"/wiping eyes does not count)
• Crying on main stage in front of judges or anywhere in front of Ru +5​
  • Points awarded for each unique occurrence. Queen must actually cry. ("Getting misty"/wiping eyes does not count). On Main Stage, queen must be on the runway in front of judges, not in the back "standing" area.
• Reading another queen/throwing shade +2
  • Points awarded for each unique occurrence. Comment must be shady or a read, not just a bitchy or mean comment. Excludes reading challenge.
• Making RuPaul laugh +2
  • Points awarded for each unique occurrence of a contestant making RuPaul laugh. This must occur in the work room or on the runway. Excludes making Ru laugh during mini challenges, main challenges, or the lip sync.

Runway:

• Being in the Top +10
  • ​Usually will be Top 3, however, in some cases, there could be more or less (usually in cases where Top/Bottom is somewhat gray or eligible group deviates from normal 6)
• Being in the Bottom -5
  • ​Usually will be Bottom 3, however, in some cases, there could be more or less (usually in cases where Top/Bottom is somewhat gray or eligible group deviates from normal 6)
