Week 8 Highlights and Season Finale!

With Week 8 now complete The Craft Beer League season has come to an end.  Congratulations to Jersey Suds, our season winner with a total of 7,310 points for the 8 week season.  Checkout the LEADERBOARD on the Fantasizr website to see the Final list of the Top 50 teams for this season.  Also, Congratulations to our Week 8 Winner "~ Top of the Hops ~" with 1,090 points.  The Top 25 Week 8 Scores can be found in the table below. 

So what's next?  How about another season (coming soon) with some new craft beers as well as many of your favorites from this season.  Look for details shortly via email and social media.

Week 7 HIGHLIGHTS

Week 7 is now complete and just one more lweek remains in the current Craft Beer League season.  The total Craft Beer category was up 5.10% from the previous week - the first week over week increase isince Memorial Day.  Suprisingly, only 180 of the 250 beers in The Craft Beer League increased their weekly retail sales but some were quite significant.   Congratulations to our Week 7 Winner "The Ale Storms" with 1,253 points.  The Top 25 Week 7 Scores can be found in the table below.  Be sure to checkout the LEADERBOARD on the website to see the Top 50 teams going into the final week of the season.

Week 6 HIGHLIGHTS

The Craft Beer category was down 1.55% from a week ago but that did not stop 206 of the 250 beers in The Craft Beer League from increasing their weekly retail sales.  Congratulations to the Week 6 Winner "onepintatatime" with 1,176 points.  The Top 25 Week 6 Scores can be found in the table below.  

With just 2 weeks remaining, Jersey Suds has a 300+ point lead but things can change quickly  See below for Top 5 Season leaders.  Checkout the LEADERBOARD on Fantasizr website for the Top 50.  

Week 5 Highlights

Congratulations to ROLLING HOPS, the top scoring team in Week 5 with 1,276 points!

Going into Week 5 there were 6 beers that had increased their weekly retail sales each week over the first 4 weeks of the season.  Only 1 of those did it for a fifth straight week.  Congratulations to New Glarus Spotted Cow Ale - their 1.45% increase in sales in Week 5 gives them 5 consecutive weeks of increasing sales and was good for 172 points this week.

With Week 4 now complete we are half-way through our 8-Week season.  Be sure to check the LEADERBOARD to see the Top 50 teams after 4 weeks.  If you are one of them - Congratulations, keep it up the last 4 weeks.  If you are not, just know things do trun quickly with The Craft Beer League and it is not unusual to gain hundreds of points in a week or two.

Week 2 saw 3 teams break the 1,000 point mark for the week!  Congratulations to our Top 10 teams for Week 2 (below).  Regardless of what you scored there is always the challenge to set a new "personal best" each week.  Be sure to reference the LEADERBOARD (only available on Fantasizr web) to check the Leaders through Week 2 of the season.

Week 1 turned out to be a victory for Victory Brewing Company!  While total craft beer sales were relatively flat from previous week (-0.17% vs. LW) Victory Brewing's SOUR MONKEY SOUR BRETT TRIPEL ALE and GOLDEN MONKEY saw big sales increases, up 72.13% and 65.04% vs previous week.  These were the top 2 gainers for the week.  Did you have them in your 6-pack?  The perfect 6-Pack fpr Week 1 is below.
